I attended the restaurant tonight with my husband and two young children. The food was perfect and very filling. The staff are pleasant and accommodating we will definitely be back!

Firstly, the managemant here have missed an opportunity by not calling this place The Flaming Bengal, but I don't hold that against them. The food here is very good - I'm not sure they're fully in their stride again since reopening but they will get there. Sometimes they seem to struggle with the demand of the retaurant customers + those... More

All refurbished after the fire and back in business. It's a bit cafe like but contemporary. Very noisy when full. The food was lovely presented but it isn't quite right. The best pickle dish you will ever have but the poppadoms went fresh as they had gone soggy. King prawn was lost on the plate. At £25+ a head a... More

it was like returning home by the welcome we received when we entered. The service, food and wine was fantastic. The menu has a good range of delicious dishes from the old favourites to the new signature dishes. We had the most marvellous night.

We had a very nice mean at the NNB, staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food was very nice, drinks and food reasonably priced. They gave us some starter dish on the house that they were trying out and canvassing opinion on, that was also nice a chickpea based dish. Only two minor grumbles are it's very noisy/echoey... More

It was good to see this restaurant back in business with the same people in charge. As before, the food was very good and the service very efficient. It has been completely refurbished and is impressive. The only criticism is that the new layout makes it quite cramped and a bit noisy.

I have been looking for an Indian restaurant offering a menu with some interesting food and I have found it. We've tried the New New Bengal twice now and on both occasions we have been very pleased with the food. We've ordered from the house specialities menu and the food has been great - I highly recommend the Chicken Korai... More

13 of us booked for 5pm for a birthday meal with friends and family. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. We ordered food and drinks with the starters taking over 40 minutes to arrive. The curry was tasty and everyone agreed, as there was no excessive oil. Mine and my sons were just warm but were fine. We had... More

The decor is a little stark and the atmosphere a bit lacking but the quality of the food by far made up for that. This place has been closed for a while and seems to have had a low profile reopening, and we were t sure what to expect. Much of the same? We were pleasantly surprised; the menu has... More
