Our visit was unplanned and decided to travel from town to a place more local.
We were only people in as it had just opened but could see most of the tables were reserved.
The welcome was spot on and we just knew it was going to be great service instantly
We ordered our food and had the server recommended the Masala Chips on the side.
Honestly can sat every single course was top quality and the most tastiest Indian food we have had ever.
The service matched the food and restaurant was immaculate,
Can’t believe we have been missing out on this place
If you’re thinking of going.....don’t wait !!
Delightful !!! Will be back soon

The food from Jaipur is so good. One of our favourite curry houses in Newcastle. We've eaten once in house (before lockdown obvs) and had quite a few (read 'probably too many') take outs. The food has tasted fresh and delicious every time 🙌 but I really wanted to review them to highlight how great their customer service is. We couldn't find a menu when we wanted to order on Tuesday this week so I sent a message to Jaipur on Facebook, within less than a minute (I kid you not) they had replied to let me know that their website was down and offererd to email me a pdf of their menu. Every time we order on the phone they are polite and helpful. Delivery has always been quicker than expected and the food has always tasted top notch. Definitely a fan and definitely recommend trying them out if you haven't already.

Not a fan of spicy food so I ordered a mild korai from Jaipur on Thursday & it was so nice I had to order the same again the day after! Full of garlic flavour & went perfect with the masala chips. Will deffo be ordering from here again during this lockdown. Staff were also very friendly - would definitely recommend !!

Since having a slightly dodgy Nan bread last month we've been back 3 times and I can honestly say it's the best Curry I've ever had, chicken Naga korai is so wonderfully spicy and chicken tikka Ceylon is just the best. If you're not sure what to order ask for Rico he's so helpful he'll take you through the whole menu. I'll recommend Jaipur to everyone.

Ordered a takeaway at 5.30 on 11th September and agreed delivery for 6.45. Thought this would be a treat for my elderly Dad who hasn’t eaten a lot of Indian food but wanted to be a try some things he liked ( like bhajis and samosas) but also try some new things. So we ordered a selection of starters. Firstly it came at 6.15. The onion bhajis( the safe bet) were dry and actually so hard on the outside that they were inedible and had to be thrown away, the samosas too were tough pastry and very hard on the edges, the puri for the prawn was tough and the sheek kebab was incredibly dry. None of the afore mentioned dishes tasted fresh and we have had enough Indian food over the years to know the difference. All of those things ended up in the bin. The rest of the food was ok but just spicy rather than tasty. The pakora chicken was particularly nice and the container of Massala sauce that I ordered as an afterthought, turned out to be the nicest thing we had ordered
This wasn’t a cheap takeaway and we had hoped for a nicer experience for my Dad. Sadly, we won’t be using them again, not even just for ourselves.

I was recommended Jaipur by a friend after trying out most other Indian takeaways in the west end of Newcastle.
The staff member who took my order was extremely friendly and recommended that I tried the lamb pathia as I enjoy my curry’s with a bit of a kick!
Can honestly say it was one of the nicest curry’s that I have tried in my 35 years of eating south Asian cuisine. The food came on time, was piping hot and the Punjabi chips on the side complimented my meal perfectly.
Anybody living within delivery distance of Jaipur should try the place out. I will 100% be ordering again soon.

This place never fails to disappoint... I’m a regular customer who enjoys collecting a late night banquet meal after a night in the Denton just over the road.
I have started asking for deliveries from here since the pandemic started and have never been let down yet. Food is always on time and portions are always flattering - top Indian takeaway!

We had a delicious meal this week here with our friends and highly recommend it, as it is one of the best Indian meals we have ever tasted.
We were made to feel very welcome by Tas, who waited on us that evening. He was very helpful and pleasant, without hovering over us the whole time. The meal and plates were nice and hot and all of our meals were cooked beautifully.
They have a nicely laid out seating area which is also kept very clean.
They also have a takeaway service with various offers on to tempt you, such as free wine or beer, if you spend over £30. 10% discount on Takeaway collection over £15. Free onion bhaji or Bombay potatoes on orders over £15

We received a menu through the door when we were in the middle of moving house and thought with all the awards this restaurant had been given - and our love for Indian food - that this would have to be the first place we tried when we had finally finished moving. We gave it a go the other night and it did not disappoint!
The gentleman was lovely over the phone when we ordered and the food arrived quickly. We’d ordered a vegetable korma and a lamb madras and they were absolutely delicious. The korma was creamy with beautifully cooked vegetables and the madras was even spicier than our favourite local restaurant back when we lived by the coast! The pickle tray with the onion salad was gorgeous as well, and the mango chutney is just *chef’s kiss*.
We’ve definitely found our new favourite takeaway!

A while back a mailshot menu arrived and eventually we decided on a change from our two or three usual Indian restaurants.
We were accorded a very polite and friendly welcome into a very quiet restaurant (it was Sunday evening).Soon we were the only five left. The menu was just a little bit different, which is what attracted us, although all the old favourites are still there.
We, well three of us ,had taken a good look at the menu at home so had an idea what we were going to order. Drinks (non-alcoholic) were served promptly and our orders taken.
Three different starters were all nicely presented and all were enjoyed. Mrs. & me shared bhuna prawn on puri and pepper stuffed with prawns, both very tasty. For mains we all ordered something different and shared. Everyone enjoyed the dishes, although some more than others.e.g. the chocolate chicken - ok for me but not great but my daughter loved it. The dish I chose was great for me but a little spicy for one of the others.
You can't please all the people etc. Would I recommend Jaipur no doubt YES. If you enjoy good Indian food in a nice, clean friendly restaurant then try Jaipur.
Next door is their takeaway. This appeared much busier. It also means that the restaurant door isn't continuously being opened and closed.

I really wanted to like this Indian takeaway, and had high hopes for it.
I rang to place our order and got through on a very quiet phone line, not helped by another person talking loudly on a phone beside the man I spoke to. He said he would give me some free poppadoms and how many would I like, I said 2 please. All great so far.
When my Husband got home with the takeaway, my plain naan bread was missing, and when I looked there were 3 poppadoms in the bag which I had been charged for. No free ones in sight.. My Husband said someone came out and gave the women in front of him 2 free poppadoms to which she was very bemused, but she just walked off with them.
I rang and inquired as to whether my plain naan had been ordered, I was called mate a hundred times in the conversation, and was told me it wasn't on the order, so no free poppadoms, my chicken dhansak only had 5 small bits of chicken in it, and I had no naan bread to eat it with, not a great experience.....

I was invited to this restaurant for my friends birthday so I asked if they could make any of their curries vegan and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. They made me a delicious vegetable curry with rice and bread, all made without ghee. Great service and I recommend to everyone!

A group of 9 of us visited Jaipur and we were not left disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the waiters were attentive and polite. The Naan Bread may even be the best I have ever had. Fantastic. Will return.

Friday night my Girlfriend and I dined in at Jaipur. I chose it based on reviews I had seen and the aesthetic from their website. Very professional and a nice ambience it seemed. The restaurant itself is lovely inside. We were taken care of extremely well by the friendly and very attentive staff. The food was extremely good, some of the best from an Indian restaurant dine in experience that I have had. I think their Chicken Tikka Balti may have become my favourite curry. The food was well prepared and tasty, portions were very generous and the cost very very reasonable. I will definitely be returning for another meal in the future.

What a hidden gem Jaipur is. It is by far the best Indian food me and my partner have ever had (so much so we were back for a second time the following week!).
If you don’t fancy a curry I highly recommend getting the Pancho Bahar. This was recommended to me upon ordering and is absolutely delicious.
Alongside the delicious food, the staff absolutely make this place. Every single member of staff we encountered were polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They really are a credit to the place! All in all, cannot recommend this place enough.
We will definitely be back- thank you so much!
