Quay ingredient café - doesn’t look that great, from the outside but the food is really nice. I had the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Bacon & Parma Ham £5.95 it was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I will visit again

This place is very small on a side street and I for one had never knew of it's existence until a local recommended it. That said, it is a really cosy and friendly place and the food is absolutely amazing, had breakfast here on Saturday morning and can't wait to go back again in the future. Small business, TOP quality

We had a full English and Eggs Benedict with smoked bacon. Both were really delicious! The service was spot on and the interior is very clean & quirky. We look forward to returning!

The problem is that we keep having to find a reason to go into Newcastle so that we can 'just be passing' and then drop in for breakfast. Just looking at their Eggs Benedict makes you happy...but please don't go because its really small and we don't want to have to queue for too long!

It was a cold lncnhtime in newcastle and we were after some good quality simple fare. We chose this place at random but it was a result. I had a cheese and onion baguette which wasn't on the menu but they made me one anyway. Anne had a goats cheese salad which looked great. Baguettes/salads for 5 with crisps and... More

I have dined here a few times for breakfast and lunch, the menu is very simple however the food is cooked very well! I've had numerous items on the breakfast menu but always seem to favour their big stotties with bacon and sausage! You get a decent portion size and the value for money is good. The only thing that... More

Gorgeous experience. Great place, great food, family like atmosphere. If you want to enjoy a delicious English breakfast then this place is a must. It's a good idea to make a reservation as it gets busy.

We have had brunch here several times. It's usually quite busy, and the tables are quite close together which can make it feel a little cramped, but it's still a very enjoyable place to go. We've always enjoyed whatever food we've gone for!

We went the day after it was reviewed in The Guardian as one of the country's Top 50 Places for Breakfast. So not surprisingly - given it only has about 8 tables - we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. We took (excellent) take away macchiatos and lattes outside and in the end the wait was less...
