Well positioned, clean, but let down by a limited range of choice at breakfast and none too special when it arrived! The room was very tight, however it was cheap so fair enough.

We were staying nearby for the week so thought we would try The Bell as it looked traditional, quaint and had quite a wide selection on the menu. We booked a table of 6 adults plus 2 children for a 30th birthday meal. After booking...More

There's a reason The Bell Inn averages 5 stars. The pub is everything you want from a village pub, the accommodation is incredible...audible 'wows' from the family when we walked into the family room, (which sleeps 4), the owners and staff were extremely friendly, the...More

Went to this inn as read it was nice, and we were not disappointed. The food was hot and tasty, with nothing bad to say. Would definitely go there again!!

We went to The Bell last Sunday for lunch. The food was up to its usual high standard and the staff were attentive and helpful. The menu is extensive and they are very accommodating if some variation to the menu is required. Over the years...More

The food was good but the service a bit over the top and looking at the menu a bit pricey and over the top for lunch. Could do with a bar menu. I know on race days it would be busy. It was very nice...More

What are the opening hours? I just moved in up the street and the few times we've walked down to have dinner it has been closed, lights off, doors locked.

I 'm not sure what the opening hours are during the week. We visited The Bell on a Saturday and pre booked for 7pm by phone.
Is the pub dog friendly? We often pass with our German Shepherd in the car.
