Food is fantastic and it is well priced. Also has a good selection of local beers and imports. Great for a Friday or Saturday evening for drinks as well. The place comes alive. Highly recommend their BLT and or fish and chips for dinner/lunch

We have been here lots of times over the years but yet to review it. Generally we pop in for a few drinks after we’ve been to Voujon just down the road. Good selection of proper beers as well as all the fizzy stuff! Great...More

The food was very good, I had the ham hock pie, very good flavours, may be a little salty for some. A very nice place to go.

We came here with friends and had a wonderful meal. They ordered all sorts of starters which kind of filled us up. But the main courses were wonderful as well. We hope to return.

This is a very bright pleasant pub with restaurant area. The food is excellent with friendly efficient staff. A small but important aspect was the offer of complimentary still or sparkling water. We finished off the evening with a few drinks in the bar area...More

Nice atmosphere and good menu however after two visits with friends will not be going again as on each occasion one of the meals was totally overcooked. On the first occasion it was lamb shank and when it was pointed out the reply was that...More

Freshly cooked food cooked to perfection at a reasonable price, what more could you ask for? Nice atmosphere and friendly service. I'm pretty fussy when it comes to food and I really couldn't find fault. I hope they are up and running again after the...More

A fantastic place, more than just a pub. Delivers every time; lunch with friends, date night or just a quick beer! Love the soup and sandwich deal. Appreciate their beer! Recently had dinner with a colleague based in Denmark who misses pub life and pub...More

Description
We knowthat not everyone wants the same thing from a pub. You might want a pint of local real ale at the bar ... A bottle of wine and a grazing board on the sofas ... A meal in the dining room ... A really good coffee and a read of the paper ... Take your pick. If real ale is your thing, look no further. We offer our own Brewshed Best Bitter and Pale Ale plus a couple of guest ales. We're passionate about wine and have created an award winning list Which offers a selection of old favorites combined with some more unusual and quirky wines. The common theme is did we believe They Are all well made wines offering good value for money. Every single one of our wines are available by the glass (except some champagnes). On the food side, the emphasis is on good quality, seasonal produce and, wherever Possible, we source it locally. We love Sunday lunch and offer a great roast - bring the family or meet up with friends and catch up on your way. We're open from noon until late. So if you're in need of a locally roasted coffee in the afternoon, you know where to come. Free wi-fi is available Throughout the pub. What about the kids? Children are welcome in the bar before 6pm and 8pm in the restaurant but evenings are just for the grown ups. Our kids menu is Important to us. It is Aimed at children under 8 and each dish is freshly prepared. You can therefore order a roast pork or beef kids on Sundays. Where Possible, we are very happy to prepare smaller Portions from our main menu. Baby changing facilities, high chairs, activity sheets and crayons are available.
