A lovely cosey little pub where the staff are really friendly. The food here is really good and quite a good menu to choose from. In the winter its nice to sit by the lovely fire and chat with the locals and staff.

Spiritual brook is just a short walk from our house so we tend to go there every few months to meet up with friends. We ate there once and we were pleasantly surprised as the food was quite decent. The menus were printed on a piece of paper and all covered in grease so we did not expect too much... More

As a family we have been meaning to visit this pub for a while, but decided to try their Sunday Lunch, unfortunately on this occasion no Sunday lunch available so decided to select from the menu. We was not disappointed the Burgers are the tallest we have ever come across, the chef came out to ensure everything was okay with... More

This is a locals pub but is welcoming when you walk in. There are many different beers and ales than you usually find in pubs. There is a beer garden. You can take your dog in too. The food is general pub grub, there does appear to be a strong smell of cooking oil in the lounge area which puts... More

I have never been to a venue where the chef bought the food to the table and positively beamed with pride at what he presented us with. And proud he should be...stunning pie, beautiful fish and chips and amazing curry. This pub must suffer a bit for it's tucked away location but please....make the journey, you won't be disappointed. We... More

We went as a group for the beer festival. There was supposed to be live music also but it was just a solo artist in the lounge so being outside where the beer festival was being held we couldn't hear him. Good choice of beers at good prices. The staff were nice although went out of their way to serve... More

I think that we have stumbled upon our new favourite lunch time venue. We thought that we would take the dog with us to get her more used to being in different places and she seemed to have a good a time as us! We chose to sit outside to make the most of the sunshine. The menu was varied,... More
