Nishad's Indian Restaurant in Stafford is a true culinary delight! From the warm and welcoming ambiance to the incredible flavors that dance on your taste buds I highly recommend the Nishads special biryani, every aspect of the dining experience was exceptional. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes that are prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. The attentive staff adds to the charm of the place, making you feel like a valued guest. If you're in Stafford and craving delicious Indian cuisine, Nishad's is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Absolutely outstanding food, quality, quantity, and taste. We have had approximately 15-20 meals from here and every single time the food is unbelievably good. Every dish we have had [take away] has been outstanding. The delivery time has always been fast and the delivery drivers have been so very friendly and cheerful. There is absolutely no way they can improve on the outstanding quality of the food and the service !

Hadn’t been to Nishads for a while so was not sure what to expect. It was a Saturday evening and we were lucky to get a table at short notice and the place was full. In spite of that the reception was very friendly and the service remarkably speedy for both the starter papadums and pickles and then the main courses. I had the murghi masala - really good. Definitely recommend a visit.

Absolutely awful. So ordered the Special mix Jalfrezi sizzler, the waiter didn't have a clue, couldn't speak English, the wife pointed it out on the menu as the sizzler which she has had for over 25 years being one of the first customers on their first night..... out comes a dish completely different.... not even contained the ingredients mentioned... she went out of her way with the new staff to make sure they understood but no.. so only ordering two curries, no poppadoms, no starters, it took over 45 minutes. In that time there were two ladies on puddings and only one take away. The chicken madras come out flooded with oil... the chicken was clearly old tasted awful, the rice was clearly from days ago and microwaved lumps and even sone of the lumps looked like it was corners of a take away cartoon. Guys... this dreadful and not one person of staff for an empty restaurant with three of you on service didn't even come and ask if it was okay.. left over 50% of meal, paid and left.

The best Indian food I've ever had.
The chicken is cooked to prefection amd the service is 5 star.
Will definitely be returning we've now found our regular Indian restaurant!

Went to meet a business owner for a meeting. We both enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was wonderful. The staff were so polite and the service was wonderful. I have been to top restaurants around the world and the service of this restaurant was in my top 10. The food had so much flavour and was unique which I seem to find rare for Indian takeaways.

Had a takeaway on Saturday night, collected as in town.
I went for a tandoori mixed grill, this comes with a portion of vegetable curry and a nan bread.
The grill was very tasty and generously portioned. The vegetable curry was one of the best I've had, nice flavour and not swimming in oil. The nan was ok, a plain one that I should perhaps have paid a bit more to upgrade to a keema?
All in all a very good take away, planning to go back and sit in.

Once again i was greeted by the staff, who in turn explained the different selections of taste & heat within the different curries . Nothing to much effort with the guys who are pleasant & helpful . Had a chicken pasar which i wanted a kick to, i added extra chillies & must say it came out first class. Eat in or take away , always a superb curry at Nishads.

My first visit but definitely not the last! What a jewel! Hidden down a side street we were lucky to be able to fit in on a busy Saturday (two people). The staff were courteous and attentive without bringing a nuisance. The food was delicious and plentiful. Now our new favourite restaurant in Stafford ❤️

We had a great meal for two here one Friday evening. We had booked online in advance. We actually arrived half an hour early and staff accommodated us, no problem. Our meal was excellent quality. Staff were attentive. The decor is plain white and very clean. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but you can take your own. We did not know this in advance but were able to pop out to the nearby off-licence to buy some wine, less than 5 minutes walk away. Overall, it’s well worth a visit.

Amazing food, great atmosphere and quality service. Staff were extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. It was my first experience at this restaurant and they made me feel right at home. Will definitely be coming here again. I had the Boro Chingri Bhuna, an egg fried rice, and a keema nan. Would definitely recommend those as well as the sea bass aloo palak and the methi gosth. I also have no doubt that everything else on the menu is absolutely lovely. If you’re ever in Stafford you should definitely try this fine establishment out.

Love eating in the restaurant but not possible at the moment so we went for a takeaway. It was absolutely fabulous, we got just what we asked for bang on time and cooked to perfection as usual. Neither main dish was on the menu but as usual, Nishads rose to the challenge. Perfect !

Havent ordered from here for a while so I decided to tonight. Jalfrezi, murghi masala pilau rice and a nishads special naan. Absolutely incredible. Piping hot food, flavours out of this world. Absolute stand out takeaway. Thankyou nishads.

Restaurant was empty barring to other people and they had eaten. Took 40 minutes for food to come and when it did not what we ordered. Quite oily , bread was quite nice. Been eating here for 25 years won't go again. Service poor didn't even do a meal check. So sad used to love the place !

Terrible customer service. Placed a delivery order and they decided to cancel it with no explanation, didn’t email, text or call me. I found out 1hr 30 mins after ordering. I’m guessing they didn’t want to deliver to where I live but let me place the order and didn’t have the decency to call me.
