Called in for a beer or two on a wet Saturday lunchtime. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff, even friendlier clientele. Our dog was very welcome and could freely wander about the bar. Rambling layout of rooms and shelter at end of garden with people playing various instruments. Captures the vibe of Glastonbury very well.

Lively local pub just off the main drag in Glastonbury. Good range of beers and ciders, didn't investigate the wines. The Sunday roasts were good with generous portions. My beef was nicely cooked, certainly medium rather than my preferred rare but very tasty. The vegetarian lentil and nut roast was moist and tasty., in both cases good roast potatoes and... More

Went here last Sunday and it was awesome! Lovely roast beef, chicken & nut roast. Roast potatoes were amazing. Loads of beautifully cooked veg & amazing home made gravy. Great value at £8.50!! Highly recommend! Great job guys.

The king Arthur is probably my favourite live music venue in the whole of the South West. Drinks are cheaper here than most of the other pubs in Glastonbury and live music is normally every weekend. We came down on Thursday to see Magic Bus play which is psychedelic rock and roll which you hardly see anywhere now and is... More

Well what a Fab pub, OK so we accept you could call me an my partner 'Alternative' and this place suits us down to the ground. Great beers and ciders and well kept and nice staff and a great 'atmosphere' :-) They even have their own printed beer mats which is a great little touch. Beer prices were average for... More

We attend this great pub whenever we are fortunate enough to visit Glastonbury. Great atmosphere and great selection of local ciders. Full of locals which is great and food is very good. We've had Sunday lunch here a few times and as well as a reasonable price, the gravy was the closest to home made we have found (not out... More

A few of the pubs up the top of town warned me off going here saying it was rough and troublesome etc which instantly made me want to see for myself... what a find it was! Best pub in the town, yes its slightly run down but full of character, characters and people to talk to. Nice big garden with... More
