not bad pub food, decent sized portions. It did take 40 minutes for food to arrive and the chips were a bit dry. burger was good, very meaty with sides of salad, chips and coleslaw. really recommend the turkish delight ice cream, several flavours available at £1.25 a scoop

Absolutely loved our stay here.. everything about it felt like we'd stepped back in time & we're seeing everything thought the eyes of the people who stayed here In The 16th century. We stayed in Henry 8th room which was so quirky the creeky floor & big old wooden beams really added to the feel of 'back in the day'... More

We enjoyed our meal there so much that we ended up going there for lunch all 3 days. I ordered different meals each time and they were all really delicious and the café latte was the best coffee I've had in a pub or restaurant!

Popped in for lunch on arrival at this historic hostelry in the historic town of Glastonbury. The building is beautiful with nooks and crannies, alcoves & statues of knights in shining armour. Glastonbury has purloined the legend of King Arthur & also lays claim to all things pagan & witchity. But beautiful stained glass-windows don't hold their charm if the... More

We stayed at this lovely hotel for the Glastonbury frost fayre and the rooms did not disappoint. However... Do not eat here as the food is atrocious.

An evening meal amongst the Glastonbury ghosts. Sadly I didn't see any passing by whilst I ate my dinner...

Spending some time in this historic building does bring a sense of calm and well being....it may be the beer or just Glastonbury itself !!

We grabbed a drink and a quick lunch in this 1497 pub. The carrot soup was homemade with excellent fresh bread on the side. The atmosphere was quaint with little side rooms for cozy breaks.

We ended up in here a couple of times, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the food was lovely. I am vegetarian and I had a wonderful mushroom and champagne risotto, the hubby equally enjoyed his meat dish! The staff were nice and friendly and the pub itself has retained its historical feel inside as well as out.
