This restaurant looks very unprepossessing when you walk past, being in a basement (like many restaurants in Bath seem to be) but we were met with a warm welcome. Delicious food, and not having had Nepalese food before, we found it to have elements of both its neighbours' cuisine i.e. Chinese and Indian . Very sweet service too.

Bloody good grub. Two mains, rice, two beers and a couple of sides for just over £40. Eat the Momos. They are a solid 10.0. Patrish af

I think this was my first visit to a Napalese restaurant and if this is typical then it will be a cuisine I will look out in the future. Whilst I made the mistake of not ordering rice to go with the Dhal and Chicken Curry, the remaining liqueur from the latter was sufficiently enjoyable to have by itself. Both... More

We visited on a short break in Bath, as the reviews were great. The food and service didn't disappoint, however I do feel like a little investment in the restaurant would go a long way - we were sat at the back of the restaurant and it was more like a cafe, with a significant draft.

Eight of our family ate lunch together here in February. Service was excellent as was the food (which we enjoyed sharing!). The staff were very welcoming to the two smallest members of the party (3 yrs and 1 yr). Great flavoursome food!

Been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions now & cant fault it. Food is authentic Nepalese served by very friendly staff. Choice of table seating or floor cushions, if you are able to bend that way! Great value with very reasonable wines to accompany. Only problem for me was steep access stairs down to the restaurant.

I enjoyed my first experience with Nepalese cuisine. The food was very good and the service was even better!! I loved being able to eat on the floor and that the workers were so attentive!! Ordered the Nepali Momo and Yak Yeti Yak lamb... sooo good!!

If you have never tried Nepalese cuisine, this restaurant is a must. A first visit to this gem of a place and will definitely be back next trip to Bath (and probably every time). The use of the Nepalese timur pepper in the authentic dishes set my taste buds dancing with delight. If feeling a little adventurous or you are... More

We'd been meaning to try this restaurant for ages but hadn't gotten around to it. We finally visited last night and it was at least as good as we'd been anticipating if not better. The staff are all so friendly and the food is just amazing. I had a pork dish for main which was so tender that I still... More

Description
If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
