Nice modern French bistro in the centre of Bath, close to the abbey. Good varied menu, we had confit of duck, and slow roasted pork belly, all seven with fresh vegetables, well presented and cooked. Good wine list were you can also purchase a carafe, if a full bottle is not wanted. Good clean decor, tables nicely spaced. Staff all... More

Came here over our anniversary weekend and managed to get a last minute booking at Tilley's. Bath outside was hectic and busy due to the Christmas market, and stepping into Tilley's was bliss. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed and the place was very quaint and cosy after being out in the cold. Had a lovely table downstairs, food was very... More

First visit to this charming Bistro, staff very welcoming. Had booked ahead were given a table near walkway, we asked to change, and as soon as another was available they offered it to us. The food was outstanding, the duck leg was delicious! Only downside was the chairs were not very comfortable. Will definitely go again.

This was our fifth visit (we book every December when staying in Bath for the Christmas Market) and sad to say we were disappointed this year. Previous years there has been a real warm cosy atmosphere in Tilleys with people being turned away as the restaurant was full. This was certainly not the case this year with quite a few... More

Civilised and well-established restaurant just by the Abbey. Seemed to be a pair of dining rooms split by the entrance; we were in the one with the bar. I quite like order and calm when I eat so it was nice to be in subtle and tasteful surroundings where tablecloths are linen, the decor is restrained and the service is... More

A Christmas treat for my Mum-in-law on our visit to the Bath Christmas market. Chosen for the fabulous menu and it disappoint. Ordered from the Alabaster because snails and crab are a favourite. Service was friendly and attentive and whilst it was a busy lunch serving the tables are well spaced so it didn't feel at all noisy or crowded.... More

My friend and I thought we had blown our chance of eating here as we arrived very late, having taken a wrong turn in the dark from our hotel and got hopelessly lost. We turned up to apologise and scuttle away, but were fitted in and made welcome. We both had the roast turkey dinner which was excellent and not... More

We had my birthday celebrations here this weekend, just next to the Abbey following a day of shopping in Bath and the Xmas market it couldn't have been better. The table was decorated with birthday confetti and a card from the lovely owners on our arrival. The food was amazing starters of salmon tartare, smoked duck salad and broccoli and... More
