We came to bath and did not expect the treatment we received from the staff / owner at Mad Hatters Tea Party, it was absolutely shocking. The place was empty and we were refused a table as we were told that the purchase of an ice cream was "not worth the table" and were sent off. Immediately after he was... More

The Mad Hatters tea party cafe was quirky and different although very small. We asked if we needed to book but was told we wouldn't which we thought was strange. Other tea rooms in Bath get extremely busy. When we went back for tea it wasn't busy at all in fact we were the only people seated the whole time... More

Sorry your afternoon tea experiance was not quite to your liking, Unfortunately, as you pointed out, our cafe is very small, so we are unable to take bookings for 2 people as we get busy very quickly, and turnover is rapid. As far as the query over the cost is concerned, when you left, you commented how nice everything was... More

This place is amazing! Right next to the coach station.. The Panini's are around £4-6 so really worth it. I was on a day tour and didn't have time to catch a big lunch but this was lovely and fulfilling. I had the Veggie Bestie pianini - Cheese, Tomatoes, and caramelized onions. Lovely crunch and sweetness! Pictures are on Instagram... More

Lovely quirky little tea room, with amazing sandwiches, cake and scones the size of small houses! Would highly recommend.

Stopped here for a coffee and discovered the best coffee in Bath! Sat outside and watched the world go by. Nice friendly owners, situated opposite the green and it's definitely worth searching out.

I am a student studying in University of Bath and when I decide to treat myself, I always come here for an afternoon tea. 8 out of 10 times the scones are so fresh that they are almost too hot to touch! The decor is inspired by Lewis Carroll's Mad Hatter. None of the teapots, teacups or saucers match which... More

We stopped in here for a drink while on holiday in Bath. It looked very quaint and the lady who served us was friendly. The drink and cake we had were both very nice and we really enjoyed our visit.
