Must try this restaurant if visiting Bath! Food was delicious and the staff made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Surrounding are unbeatable - beautiful cave like setting with a perfect ambience. Highly recommend!

We visited Sotto Sotto based on the fantastic Trip Advisor reviews, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The setting is so atmospheric, and the staff were incredibly attentive (particularly our waitress Paula). The food was delicious, and great cocktails. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Food was very good. Service was perfect (and I mean that) and price was very reasonable. A must for those interested in real Italian Cuisine.

On a trip advisor review, we dinned here and immediately felt immersed in its charm. It is located off the street in that you have to walk down two stairways. It is like entering a cave. The waitstaff were incredibly professional and were knowledgeable on...More

Above average. Starters £6-£10, £25 for the steak but worth every penny. Deserts about £7.

Certainly doesn’t appear wheelchair friendly as there is a dogleg flight of steps from pavement level down to the basement level. Not sure about the other two parts of your question.

Description
BOOKING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. We are closed from 1st-14th August, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Easter Sunday & from 1st-14th January. Situated just a few steps away from the Roman Baths, our attractive and atmospheric restaurant is located in a charming candle lit historical cellar of natural Bath stone with vaulted ceilings throughout, and resembles the cavernous cellars of an Italian grotto. The main characteristic of our cuisine is its simplicity. We rely on the quality of our ingredients rather than on elaborate preparation. We also like to offer traditional Italian dishes with a contemporary twist because we strongly believe in those 'Sapori' (flavours). With our finest ingredients coming from Italy, and all of our fresh vegetables, seafood and meats sourced locally, we are able to ensure high quality dining that will exceed your expectations.
