Although the scones were really good, with nice cream and tea, the decor is tired and dated. The outlook is not very nice either. I think there are other preferable places in Bath where all these boxes can be ticked (see my other Bath reviews...)

A group of 4 of us visited on a Saturday afternoon for tea and cake. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was varied and all tasted freshly made. The scones with cream went down a treat with the English tea. The coffee and walnut cake was lovely and we were given a Bath Bun as a free extra. The staff... More

Very friendly and efficient staff. Nice assortment of teas. Sandwiches were ok but just ordinary sliced bread. Scones and cake were ok. 3 sandwiches, 2 cakes, 1 scone, 1 bath bun, 1 tea and 2 cold drinks = £34 Ok but not wow

We have been here several times and always been pleased. However we visited yesterday for lunch and were really disappointed. The food was its usual good standard. The service was very slow, the staff were not attentive and the older of the 3 was rude to some customers. As we waited (with two other groups) to pay there was more... More

Tried to go to Sally Lunn's to try the famous Sally Lunn buncake, but the line was out the door! So, wandered down the street a bit and came upon this lovely little tea shoppe. Very small, a handful of tables, very cozy. According to the advertising, the Bath bun was invented here or something like that, so had to... More

We were after a brew, and found this quaint coffee and tea shop. The waitress took our order pretty quickly, but then we had a little wait till we got our drinks. there were other people moaning, but we sat there patiently. what else could we do, the whole of Bath was a sea of people, and the shop was... My wife had a toasted teacake (very good I'm told) whilst I settled for the pea and ham soup. The surprise was the amount of freshly sit ham placed on the top of the excellent, rather thick, pea soup. Served with a hunk of broad bread. We both had different teas from their extensive offerings. Properly served with individual hot... More

Myself, mother and 2 family friends stopped off in here for a cup of tea and cake in between shopping the Christmas markets, it is very cute but exceptionally small and cramped here, the theme runs through the tea room very well with the decor, crockery and staff uniforms all representing a past time. The experience was similar to what... More
