Just arrived in Bath and needed some food on a drairy, rainy Monday. We are not vegetarians but we love vegetables so we went to Acorn. We loved every bite! The food was brilliant, a suprise after suprise. Plates were beuatifully filled and everything was done with love and care. I was cold, hungry and grumpy and left happy and... More

The food here was excellent, with some unusual dishes. We went for lunch and had three dishes each (including dessert) plus one shared dish. This was plenty for us. The signature chocolate tart was particularly good! Would go back again.

This menu is a real voyage of discovery, full of courses that you will not have tried before and some really interesting but successful combinations. The cauliflower panna cotta and walnut tortellini were favourites. Service was attentive despite the fact the restaurant being pretty busy and staff were keen to talk about the food.

I am not a vegan but I went with my best friend as a birthday treat. The food is absolutely outstanding, the dishes so thought through and delicious and the service was impeccable. My only comment would be that the seating is a bit cramped!

The food was innovative and delicious. Imaginative combinations and abundant flavours. Good service and cosy setting. Different cuisine from other vegetarian restaurants. I wish I could go again soon.

The format of the menu is quite interesting - you choose a number of small plates, somewhere between three and five. That is a bit tricky as you have no idea on the size of them - we are not huge eaters but found four (including dessert ) to be about right. The menu choices are very interesting and there... More

We were in Bath for a week in early 2017. My partner was very keen to try this restaurant. She hadnt been able to get a booking on her previous visit to Bath, three years ago. So we booked in advance. And a good thing we did too, It was full very quickly (not really peak season just now in... More

My wife is a vegetarian. I am not, and I often find that the menus at veggie restaurants are extremely uninteresting for us carnivores, but not so here. With a surprisingly varied range of dishes to choose from, this is veggie fine dining. The flavours are excellent too. But, it comes at a price. As with all fine dining, the... More

We went to this restaurant on 4th January. We were seated in an alcove which proved to be very draughty and cold. The cushion on the bench seat had moved and exposed a mound of dirt hidden underneath. Not a good start. Being offered bread and olive oil and an amuse bouche whilst we waited was welcoming, however each set... More

Not cheap but worth it for a special occasion for me at least. Inventive food, pleasant staff, central location - very close to the abbey. (Used to be Demuth's.)
