Very good location and food was excellent, very cosy atmostphere, we would recommend this wine bar for the wonderful food we tried here, particularly the Fish and Chips as the fish was the freshest and whitest we have ever had.

My Wife & I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed. Lovely clean room,great breakfast & superb evening meal on 1 of the nights. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful at all times. The only issue is the parking or lack of.

Great place for drinks and food too. Lovely and helpful staff. Fantastic range of drinks from local beers to Italian draft lagers. Such a beautiful garden area too. Dog friendly and this is such a positive thing- only well behaved dogs and people welcome!

Description
A vibrant and lively popular Inn right in the centre of the historic County Town. Close to all the main attractions. Run by local staff members and owned and by a local family. Based in an atmospheric 500 year old building in the centre of Shrewsbury with a Wine Bar, Restaurant and superb Garden. Six fine guest rooms with three having hand-made fourposter beds which were made just across the border in Heredordshire. Awarded a five star Restaurant rating by the Shropshire Star.
