Been here loads of times to eat in and it never fails to impress me. Haddock and chips, peas, bread and butter and a cup of tea for not much more than a fiver. Friendly staff, clean and modern and not pretentious in any way. Unbeatable locally.

Been here so many times and keep coming back. You will not get better fish and chips. They are light and "non-greasy" . Portions just right not over faced big equally big enough to leave full. Excellent price. Welcome us with kids. Service is great with a smile. Casual and welcome. You will not regret coming here.

This place is a real gem. Had lunch with a client yesterday and as always the food and service was a delight. Cod, chips, beans, bread&butter and 2 proper pots of tea for £12. Frymaster always looks busy after 12, but don't be fooled by the queue of hungry people waiting to take their lunches away - go past the... More

Went to Frymaster on Trivago recommendation - glad we did! Fantastic fish, brilliant batter, chunky chips, tasty tea, and super staff! Grew up in Yorkshire but over 40 yrs training, working, living on south coast (where, sorry, but there just aren't any REAL chippies!) means we can't wait each time we travel north! The price we paid is great value... More

I've been coming here for some years:usually to eat in but sometimes to takeaway. The quality of the fish and chips is reliably excellent. It proves quality does not have to be expensive. A good friendly fish and chip restaurant: there are surprisingly few on this side of the city. Nice picture of the "old"Attercliffe with some interesting artistic license... More

Description
For my family Fish & Chips began back in the 1930's. It was great Aunt Eliza who came to Sheffield and opened our family's first Fish & Chip shop, using a combination of Lincolnshire potatoes, Icelandic cod, and beef dripping together with a "special" recipe batter which has been passed down through the family generation to generation. I am proud to say that we still cook our Fish & Chips the same way great Aunt Eliza did all those years ago, helping to keep it... A Great Family Tradition.
