This is a nice pub, lovely friendly feel which you don't often get in a city centre pub. We had a family meal and the food was lovely and not at all expensive. Had no problem that we had kids either.

I visited this pub to watch the Europa League final between Man Utd and Ajax. There was a big projector and many TV's so anybody could watch the match from any place in the pub. Food was absolutely great and surprisingly cheap. Prices for pints...More
If you want good honest no frills food, then this is a good place. I had pie chips peas and gravy for £3.99. Better than Wetherspoons and burger king. Some good lagers but not much choice of real ales today.
