Having driven past the Flouch a few times I thought it was closed, however we were invited to a party there. Upon arrival the place is not very welcoming and at the top of the stairs it had a fusty smell, I think at this point I would normally have turned around. Once down stairs the waiters were very friendly... More

The food was pretty decent but i think they are tight with the meat in the curries (4 lumps of chicken in an £8 curry). All the other portions were fine though the rice and naan breads are fantastic and the flavour of the curry is excellent. We made the mistake of going on new years eve and it was... More

went here on a sunday evening and the other reviews are so right, as you enter the car park it looks like a closed down pub with no lights on just look for the door with a small Balti sign above it and go down the stairs and what a surprise its like another world, bright and airy with well... Not been to this restaurant for a few years, what a mistake. We went midweek so it wasn't busy, but the background Indian music made for a relaxed atmosphere. We were served with drinks while choosing from the menu. The waiters were very friendly and our starters arrived within 10 minutes. The food was very good and we wouldn't hesitate... More

As others have already written, do not be put off by the outside appearance. The building is owned by a local businessman and not by the people who run the restaurant, therefore they do not have a say about the external appearance. It's the food and the staff that make this restaurant excellent. The staff are very friendly and will... More

As others have noted the outside is showing age but this building does go back years as a pub and is a local Landmark.(they don't own the building so are not responsible for the external) DO NOT be put off, once downstairs into the restaurant it becomes a warm and friendly place to be. The staff are all really pleasant... More

Ok so the outside looks like the building is derelict but please please please give it a try. It doesn't look tempting whatsoever and doesn't draw you in but well worth the chance. Myself and my partner had a takeaway meal from here one evening. He holds such fond memories of the place from his younger years and constantly raves... More

PLEASE DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE EXTERIOR. This is an outstanding Indian, either eat in or take away, absolutely amazing food. They make me a special which is chicken tikka masala bhuna style, for those who love a creamy flavoured curry. Garlic rice is gorgeous, my husband has the fish curries not my thing , but he raves... Having read the reviews I was expecting something really amazing, what I got was the Flouch Balti. The car park, full of weeds, pot holes and RUBBISH. your presented with broken windows, rotten decking more like a haunted house than a restaurant, great for halloween. Now I highlight the rubbish as they could at least do something about it and... More
