Great place, wide choice of drinks and plenty of places to sit. Always has a good atmosphere and music. Quite near to other bars and clubs to move on to after and plenty of taxis near by.

Cosey corner bar. Some really tastful beers and some quirky decor result in a nice stop off for a pint out of the wind and rain in Sheffield. Worth a visit even if it's just for one drink.

Spacious pub with good drink selection and food. More of a student pub not for families with children. Nice place to chill with friends.

The Dev Cat is always a favourite of ours when eating out in Sheffield city centre. The service is consistently flawless and the food reliably amazing. This was our first visit on a Sunday. I had a hankering for roast beef and Yorkshire pudding which...More

Having recently moved to Sheffield (mainly for the beer) I was delighted when I stumbled across this gem of a pub. The beer range is terrific with around 30 different lines and all well kept. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and when they're...More

This review is a bit late. We went to the Devonshire Cat on New Years Eve for some food and early drinks. We finally decided on the roasts which were excellent quality and very good value with good portion sizes. There were numerous real ales...More

Extensive wine list very nice wine and have tried to get hold of it, but no luck so far, the food looked very nice but did not have time to try it.

This would be a lovely pub if they didn’t allow people to basically book out all the seating, leaving punters in the strange situation of all standing up while ample seating lies unused, awaiting some apparent future custom that may or may not materialise.

New menu at the Dev Cat looks good. I'd not planned to eat, but Michael showed me the menu. I couldn't resist trying the courgette and Apple fritters small plate. Gabby promptly brought a very attractive plate of 3 fritters on a salad bed with...More

Description
Dating back to 2001 and bought by Abbeydale Brewery back in 2013, we established ourselves as one of the very first beer bars in Sheffield. We've built our reputation on serving quality craft and cask, and have beer running through everything we do, from our food to our Cocktails. We're fiercely proud to be part of the Sheffield community and our menu is sourced locally, as well as being fresh and homemade. A minute off Division Street in the heart of Sheffield, we're firmly part of the Sheffield drinking circuit and have free private hire for large groups. Outside of beer our passion is in Whisky, try one off our 75 strong list, or join us for one of our many private tasting sessions.
