I went to the bladebone last night with my family for a quick bite to eat! I was pleasantly surprised to see that on the menu there was so much more that just pub classics! The desserts were absolutely outstanding, chocolate fondant and raspberry cheesecake were amazing. Great service too!

We went out as a group for a birthday meal and had to wait 30 minutes before we even received a menu. Then it was more than a further 20 minutes before our order was taken. The service was very disorganized with the dessert being brought out after the coffee. The decor was very nice but the food was very... More

Just had Sunday Lunch here and it was the best. The decor is great and there was a really good atmosphere. We started by sharing a dish of Camembert with dipping bread and a chutney, this was the first time we had tried this and it was delicious, it could definitely be for more than 2 people though! If a... More

Amazing, amazing, amazing! One of the best meals I've had. The staff were great, a very warm welcome and the food was incredible and reasonably priced. Looking forward to my next visit.

Went last night for dinner it was excellent and the service was brilliant. Keep up the good work girls, and will be recommending to my friends as the food is a much higher standard than any of the other pubs in the local area. I had the Pork Belly and Scallops to start, followed by the classic Oink Oink. Even... More

I regularly visit this lovely Inn both to eat and for a wee drink, the food is fantastic and the range of wines is great too. The food is varied, fresh and beautifully presented, served in inventive and appetising ways (Scallops in Gruyere sauce is my particular favourite!) There is a wine to accompany every type of dish including very... More

This place is just lovely...we travelled over half an hour to get here and it was well worth it! The decor is gorgeous, the food was incredible and worth every penny. We had the scallops and sausage and scone starters, roast beef and various puds. Not one thing was disappointing and the service actually makes the whole experience ten times... More

My children treated us to a meal to celebrate our anniversary. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding we had complementary cheese scones and camambert to share and for our main meal we had cote de boeuf to share this was to die for. If this wasn't enough the chef went out of his way to create a dessert... More

We visited the blade bone for my daughters 18th birthday as it was local and had heard that the food was very good. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and a lovely friendly atmosphere, the staff were extremely knowledgeable on the food and what was popular, they delivered and went above and beyond the food was to die... Went to the Bladebone for lunch today. Gorgeous food! All 5 of us ordered rare roast beef, and were not disappointed with the perfectly cooked meat and lovely vegetables, particularly the cauliflower cheese, crispy roast potatoes and parsnips. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, a very nice way to spend a winter sunday afternoon. We are lucky enough to have the... More
