My very close friend took me to Browns recently. I'm not a 'foodie', but I do enjoy a nice meal out with friends. Both my friend and I were blown away by the quality of the food in Browns. My mussels in a creamy sauce were beautifully delicious. For my main course I opted for steak and ale pie, a... More

Came in for dinner with some visiting friends as I have heard good things about this place. Was welcomed as soon as I walked in and shown to a table, the place looked cosy and had a great atmosphere about it. Food was quick to arrive and it was delicious, my steak was very juicey and easy to cut through.... More

We had such a lovely time. The food was good and the service was even better, we had David as a waiter and he was very attentive and offered us drinks as soon as we'd run out, remembered to offer us the extras and checked up on us regularly. Star staff member thank you!

The premises are impressive, and would lead one to expect very good service and food quality. We had lunch there, in a party of six, and were most disappointed. The waitress who served us turned out to be "under training" but was so inadequate that she should not have been let loose on us. The food was slowin arriving, and... More

Nice restaurant setting and the food tastes great, unfortunately there just wasn't enough of it!! In my opinion not the best value for money.

Such a let down. This was supposed to be a lovely surprise from my best friend - a treat! The stand was bought to us with a few tiny rolls consisting of chicken and avocado, egg mayonnaise and salmon and cream cheese. Some cake - and a very sweet small glass of mousse. The rolls were dry. The cake had... More

For the money the quality of our full English breakfast was great! Plus it was cheaper than the other surrounding restaurants for the portion size.

We booked our meals and then waited, and waited, and waited for service. It was not a busy time. The food was tasteless. The lamb was accompanied by a minute quantity of overcooked greens and a mush of potato and beans. Lack of seasoning. The mushroom and pastry looked as though there had been a mushroom famine, with pastry from... More
