Very good Indian in Summertown. Everything is spotlessly clean and the staff are very attentive, even when dining alone. The only quibble I would have is that the side dishes and sundries ( such as delicious naan breads ) are more expensive than other Indian...More

Tried this resturant again hoping for some improvement, sadly nothing to write home about. Service OK but lacks any attention to detail or small points of customer appreciate. Food mixed, some dishes really good and authentic other bland and disappointing. Value for money really disappointing,...More

If you love Indian food this restaurant is a must. Both the food and service are awesome. We will definitely be back.

I have been to many dozens of Indian restaurants and consider myself knowledgeable of the cuisine, yet at the Spice Lounge I encountered many dishes of which I had never heard. The menu has many offerings from regions that are underrepresented in most other Indian...More

This restaurant has great reviews and I understand why, this is quality Indian food, well presented and tasty, however the place itself lacks a bit of character in my view.

The food here was lovely very tasty but served on cold plates which did spoil it a bit as food did not hold its heat, a primary school mistake. The service was not the best as there was a “main” older man who seemed to...More

I've been going to the Spice Lounge for years now, and often get takeaway there. The staff are always very friendly and the food is excellent!

Spice Lounge is by far the best curry I've had in Oxford. The quality is great whether you eat in or have a takeaway - highly recommended!

it would be around a half hour walk each way. If you wanted a closer Indian, there is a place called Chutneys which is 10 minutes away which I recommend equally to spice lounge.
