Fabulous setting, scene of drinks for Oxford drama series Morse & Lewis. Historic ambiance, with excellent terrace area that has resident peacock! Adjacent to river, bridge and pasture. Good pub food. Friendly staff.

We visited the Trout with friends, service was great made to feel welcome, the tables by the river were wonderful. Food was good, well presented and I thought good value for money as we had the special 3 course set meal. A nice day experience.
