Called in before visiting museums, advertising cheese toastie £3.50, not expecting much BUT.... this has to be best I've ever tasted, came on wooden board with salad & pickled cabbage, fantastic 👍. The toilets were fab with Next toiletries. All family enjoyed, lovely pot of...More

The St Giles' Cafe was a wonderful standard. Marvelous greasy sausages and beans and toast and chips and brown sauce. It was the same for many years. Then they made the fatal mistake of reinventing itself in the form of looking clean and hygienic. Even...More

After reading with great interest other reviews, I was so looking forward to having a coffee and a bite to eat in the St Giles Café. However surprisingly it has closed down and a big "to let" sign in the window. This café is now...More

This little place is just brilliant! Chanced upon it on a long weekend in Oxford and ended up visiting twice. Coffe is excellent, food is simple but also excellent and the chap who works front of house is 100%.

I have not even finished my main course and I feel the urge to tell everyone what a great small restaurant this is. The owner is a very friendly and welcoming character. The menu is varied and it's difficult to make up your mind! A...More

This simple cafe in the centre of Oxford serves good coffee and fresh vegetarian dishes such as Tabboleh, the overall impression being somewhat spoiled by one of the waiters who was extremely rude to some African guests. He was, however, an exception all the others...More
