They don't take credit cards. Otherwise, a generally nice pub. Good ambience. Good location. Not over-priced beer/ale. We did not eat food there. We were there on a Wednesday evening around 9 pm and the place was fairly dead.

Blessed with a location outside the centre and the madding crowds -although less than a kilometre - this college pub has everything ,ambience, age ; full range of english real ales and a fabulous selection of Belgian beers. Excellent staff
Atmospheric old pub, with good selection of ales. Timber-framed with a lovely atmosphere and impressive historic credentials. Food reasonably-priced, service very good (and quick).
This was a nice little pub close to Summerville college and St.Hughes college. Lively and crowded it's generally nice with typical pub food and a good atmosphere.

Part of St John's College, the Lamb and Flag has the intriguing feel of a student bar about it. Decorated with trophies from rowing, there is a good selection of beers and a limited lunchtime menu, which includes sandwiches, baked potatoes with a variety of...More
12 o'clock opening so get there early and take in the great interior and welcoming staff. Wonderfull beer selection, Old Peculier and Palmers of Bridport to mention a few. Nice area, just away from the bustle. It should be on your list.
