Probably the only place in Oxford to have a decent coffee. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be a relaxed atmosphere.

Nice place to have breakfast or brunch.. the poached eggs are great, with salmon or ham (7.50). With eggs the tea or coffee are free refill :)

I stop here most mornings as the coffee is so much better than my closer Nero and you always, yes always, get a friendly comment from the owner. What better way to start the day than good coffee and a smile!

Super crowded on a Saturday morning, yet the staff were more interested in chatting among themselves instead of attending to the long line of customers. Our food arrived without cutlery and even though we requested them from the waitress we eventually had to go collect them ourselves from the counter. The rosti was more of a hash brown than a... Go here for a relaxed coffee-it's not the kind of place to get a quick coffee to go (in a hurry). People at next tables had breakfast options, which looked good. Really nice dessert options to accompany the coffee - peanut butter stacks, cookie dough cheesecake etc.

Not always easy to find a good coffee, of New Zealand standard, in the UK but I found it here. And much more. Enjoy!

Wasn't overly impressed with the food, hygiene levels weren't great, several stained plates and cutlery. Decent atmosphere overall, and pancakes are nice. Worth a try if looking for decent priced brunch in Oxford.

This lovely independent coffee shop used to be so good, will not be returning again, they had run out of smoked salmon by 11.30am, our alternative of ham eggs Benedict then took so long to arrive (40 minutes) that we would've walked out if we hadn't had to pay on ordering. When it finally came, with no apology, it was... More

I don't like the mainstream coffee houses as you've always got to wait and the coffee is invariably awful. This place doesn't have the finesse of the big boys but the service was quick, seats were comfy, if a bit hap hazard , and the place feels lived in and it's right next to a street market which can't be...
