The Lamb was recommended by a local for a pub lunch - great recommendation! Really good service, friendly people and the pub food is great and if you want something differnet then eat at the restaurant.

We decided to call in to Burford for lunch on the way home from Bristol. The quality of the offering was excellent, but a little on the expensive side. A glass of NZ Sauvignon blanc and a glass of NZ Pinot Noir, with a sharing...More

The garden behaved no the restaurant is magical, however the food and service were poor. We would never order food again, should we return. A refreshing drink in the garden would be perfect

There is a good choice of food, nothing too exotic, which served me well, as I am rather a picky eater. I was able to find plenty that I enjoyed, even a wonderful hamburger! There is a desert that is beyond description - the caramel...More

We dined here on two occasions on a recent mid week break in Burford with friends. Exquisite food from a small but imaginative menu supported by exemplary service. The staff were professional friendly and knowledgeable. When next in Burford we will definitely make a return...More

A very charming dinning room, plenty of space between each table, so that you did not enjoy your neighbours conversations. Perfect waiting staff, ready to anticipate your every desire. Beautifully presented food that tasted equally delicious. Faultless!

We both decided on the John Dory which was cooked to perfection served with vegetables. For the sweet course I had a pecan slice which was served in such a beautiful way with a sauce shaped like a tree in all different colours so good...More
