We visited the cafe for their pop-up Frenchie day and had a wonderful time. The event was organised well and the staff were enthusiastic and informative. The cafe has an extensive range of cakes, which are delicious and their tea is exceptional.

My mum and I called in for a coffee before we had a appointment in town. Service was and coffee was that good we went back and lunch. We couldn’t fault service and food. Would definitely go back. And such a great cause.

Description
Sobar is the alcohol-free alternative cafe-bar venue for everyone; offering superb food, drink and original entertainment in a vibrant and welcoming environment. Sobar has been developed by Double Impact, the Nottingham-based drug and alcohol recovery charity with the support of a grant from the Big Lottery Fund. The initial concept for Sobar came from the users of Double Impact services who found that one of the main barriers to their recovery was social isolation and the lack of places to go that are alcohol free, particularly in the evenings and weekends. Our vision is to provide Nottingham with an alternative to the mainstream restaurants and bars and create a really convivial and creative space open to everyone who wants the choice to socialise without a focus on alcohol.
