Visited here for breakfast whilst in Nottingham. Very lovely staff, breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, and because I’m fussy they let me swap lots of things around on my fry up. Such a lovely place!! Definitely recommmend!

Nothing particularly fancy, great coffee and ambience. Staff are really nice. Great Eggs Benedict. Subtle details such as easy access to water without having to inconvenience the staff are really great also. Plus the prices are really decent.

Well done yesterday on not only managing very well during the match with all the orders, but coping with the aftermath. We felt very safe till the yobs had gone and I know the group with their Carer's thought so to. We will be back

This is a great place, English breakfast was delicious, choice of poached or fried eggs, everything well cooked, hash browns and sausage particularly good. Superb coffee that stayed hot for ages (had a latte and sometimes cools down too quickly). Would definitely recommend. Great ethos...More

Description
Sobar is the alcohol-free alternative cafe-bar venue for everyone; offering superb food, drink and original entertainment in a vibrant and welcoming environment. Sobar has been developed by Double Impact, the Nottingham-based drug and alcohol recovery charity with the support of a grant from the Big Lottery Fund. The initial concept for Sobar came from the users of Double Impact services who found that one of the main barriers to their recovery was social isolation and the lack of places to go that are alcohol free, particularly in the evenings and weekends. Our vision is to provide Nottingham with an alternative to the mainstream restaurants and bars and create a really convivial and creative space open to everyone who wants the choice to socialise without a focus on alcohol.
