Visited the tea room for a late breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict and my daughter had the Eggs Royale. My daughter ordered milk and was given the choice of semi-skimmed or whole milk, as great milk drinkers it made a refreshing change to be offered a choice and particularly to have the whole milk. The drinks arrived first and... More

We stopped in for a quick bite on a busy Saturday when we were out shopping. We had an appointment to get to in about an hour and when we mentioned that they got the food and drinks out very quickly and it was still delicious! I have been multiple times with friends and family and would always recommend it!... More

Visited Thea Caffea today (28/3/2017) for the first time in ages as we do not venture into Nottingham much in the Winter. From the moment we walked in we were made welcome. We both had Chicken Caesar Salad with Crispy Bacon, plentiful and very tasty, a Large Pot of Breakfast Tea for Two followed by a Clotted Cream Scone and... More

We love Théa Caffea, it's a very civilised tea room. Don't understand the complaints I read today. We always find the food excellent and the service is usually good. When busy the staff can take a bit longer, but what's the hurry?

My son and I came here as he said it would be a place I liked. As the waitress brought my tea, she said just ask for a top up of hot water when you like. Unusually I had a large pot all to myself, which usually you would expect for 2, and it was good tea, breakfast. There was... More

Visited on Saturday to have some lunch with my daughter. All the tables appeared to be taken so we waited to be seated. After 10 minutes we walked out as not one member of staff acknowledged our existence. They looked over several times and I smiled but we didn't even get a 'hello'. Not the best experience

Lovely quaint tea rooms a hidden gem. Very busy but had booked via Facebook in advance. Hot pot of tea & 2 sugary scones with clotted cream and jam each £5.95 excellent value and delicious. Good attentive service too. Definitely anothet visit to try the vintage afternoon tea!

This tea room at first looked really promising. It was busy, there were lots of staff and it looked cozy and welcoming. However, our cheese scones were dry (and yet they had looked so fresh!), and hence flavourless. Also, when I asked whether I could have some hot water, I was declined, because "hot water must be ordered with food".... More

We love an afternoon tea for a treat and today, went to that hidden gem that is Thea Caffea as a friend had bought us a voucher as a Christmas gift. Now, we have enjoyed very many afternoon teas, one was quite abysmal, some good, some very good, a couple excellent, one superb -- and today, at Thea Caffea ---------------... More
