This was my second visit to Nada Budaya this year, having visited earlier this year for a friend's birthday. We were not disappointed, as the food was wonderful, and our friends who had not been before loved it too. We look forward to another visit to try the food we have not yet sampled.
First time visit. I went with some colleagues from work. We got there early evening so we had the set dinner 3 course for £15.00. To start I had the Soup Vegetable Mamak. very flavorsome just a hint of spice. For mains i had the Chicken Masak Lemak with some rice again lovely taste not too dissembler to a Thai... More
If you are expecting authentic Malaysian food, you will be disappointed. Some of the dishes could pass as cafe food, not restaurant prices. Beef Rendang severely lacks flavour and spices. They don't have to make it spicy , just need the right level of spice combination to qualify the dish to be called a rendang. The chef who made this,... More
The food here was a real memory jogger on the senses. The food, both the taste and smells, took us back to that time when we were fortunate to live in Malaysia. If you have never been then I can definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant...great staff and GREAT food
Booked as a group and was looking forward for a delight taste of Malaysian. Order few main course and starter from the dinner set menus, the appetite taste okay but enough flavour bit but not enough spice to enrich the taste, basically there are no flavour at all. Main course : the taste is terrible and taste like rice box... More
Me and my partner have struggled to find a restaurant in Nottingham to eat at for aaaaages. We visited here the first time a few years ago and were blown away by the fact it was tasty food and we didn't leave with dicky tummies! We recently took our baby who had just started to get interested in food (but... More
It was my first visit to this restaurant, to celebrate a friend's birthday. She is Malaysian, and so I guessed that the food would be good as she herself eats there. It didn't disappoint, as it was all lovely and there was plenty of it. Great value too, and the drinks were not too expensive for the city centre. I... More

We were away on a girlie weekend away and stumbled (literally) by accident on Nada Budaya before hitting the town. Glad we did, an excellent restaurant with lovely staff, all the food was fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced. A great find even if it wasn't are intended destination!
Thank you Pinky0812, a great review. We're pleased you visited even if it wasn't your plan to join us at Nada Budaya. We hope you visit again next time you are in town. More
