Called in here for evening to eat. In my opinion the choice of beers on offer was poor, mostly citrus blonde beers but had Timothy Taylors.I found my pint of TT not well kept being cloudy. We found it hard to get a decent table as most of the pub seating was taken by people watching big screen sport. The... More

This was our third visited will defo be our last. The lady behind the bar was nothing but miserable couldn't even raise a smile. The food was nothing special. The children's meals were poor 1sausage( poor quality) a small blob dry mash and lots of bullet peas £4.95. Awful. The place is very grubby and run down. I was so... More

Having worked in the hospitality industry for around 10 years I have never felt compelled to write a review, as I completely understand the pressures people working in pubs, restaurants, bars etc endure. However after my experience today at the Navigation Inn I felt I had to say something. After looking forward to visiting this place for a long time... More

They can't even get chip butties right! Ride, unfriendly and badly run. Staff were not interested in any problems we had Landlord was rude about fire that had virtually gone out and the other customers were the only folk who made the atmosphere acceptable as the organisation was atrocious.

The bar man, who I would assume is manager although he clearly lacks any leaderships skills as the pub is awful, is down right rude. Do not spend your money here. I'm pretty sure the bar guy doesn't want your money anyway. He only seemed bothered about his premier league sweepstake with his three bar patrons, on a Friday night,... More

The manager is a horrible rude man who completely ruined the experience for us. It would have been a lovely meal out due to the stunning location of the pub however it was ruined by such a rude manager who didn't seem to care about the customers. From what we witnessed he did not treat staff very well and I... More

We called here hoping for a shelter from the storm, and found a real old fashioned pub. It had a glorious roaring fire. Tea and coffee available as well as a range of beers. It is not a shiny new pub, but an old well used 'worn' and used pub. It would be a great spot to sit outside during... More

Beautiful location but tired pub and visit spoilt by poor welcome. Service staff tried but grumpy bar man meant we won't be back in a hurry.

We had a family gathering to welcome my Nephew who was visiting from Australia. We had no one to look after our two dogs one of which has no eyes. I rang up to check if it was OK to bring the dogs , Jan said no problem at all dogs are welcome in all areas except for in the... More

This is the second time we have been here but the first time we have stayed overnight.Stayed Saturday night-22/23 Oct 16. Evening meal 22 10, breakfast on 23 10. Joined a group walk on 23 10 and then returned for Sunday lunch with the group. A very dog friendly pub. Me, my wife and 2 miniature schnauzers arrived 4.00ish. We... More
