First time to this Pub/Restaurant, easy to find, good warm welcome, individual dining areas, well organised menus with plenty of choice, my steak was cooked to perfection and my husband really enjoyed his liver and bacon. Would come again and bring Mum next time as access via the back from car park is easy too.

Our walking group visited for lunch. Lucy and her team were very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was good value and 24 meals were produced with minimal delay. Thank you.

I come to Earls Barton once a week for business and have tried all of the pubs in about a 10 mile radius and this is without doubt the best for food and service. It serves all the normal staple pub fare plus daily specials which are excellent and obviously home made. The bar staff and the owners are all... More

Booked this pub restaurant for a group of seven people for a Christmas get together. Our meals were preordered and table booked for 7o'clock. We had all arrived by 7 and sat down at the table on time. By 7.30 we were still waiting for our starters, eventually after a reminder of how long we had been waiting they duly... More

The Griffin's Head was recommended to us by a friend who visits fairly regularly. We chose to visit at lunchtime and there were a few people both eating and drinking. This is a proper village pub with skittles and an outside pool table -weather permitting. The member of staff was polite and friendly and offered us drinks and menus. The... More

Nice people and a quiet area, in Northamptonshire, the county of shires and squires. You must try them.

Good old fashioned pub with good beer and great food, I had fantastic beef and ale pudding, if I'm in the area again I'll be knocking on there door.

We come to the Griffins Head whenever we want a pint and a delicious, hearty meal in a traditional pub atmosphere, The service is really friendly and genuine, the menu is plentiful and there's always several things I fancy trying. The value is exceptional. This place is a gem.

Our friends, who live in Wellingborough, wanted us to join them for dinner at The Griffin's Head last evening - we live in Bedford. They were so enthusiastic about the food - and rightly so - our friends shared a deep fried camembert starter, which looked, and they said was delicious - my husband and I opted for the mussel... In an area of the country where it is now difficult to find a Sunday pub lunch we were pleased to discover this pub. There was a choice of 3 roasts and an array of different beers. The meal was very good and even the vegetables passed my test: that is they were not overcooked. Simple really but you wouldn't... More
