Nothing more than the standard 'independent cafe' serving all the usual, nothing makes the pig and pastry outstanding but it is still a great spot for breakfast/lunch/brunch on a weekend in York. There are a lot of contenders on the same road. I had waffles...More

Miss Ariana 93 It was delight to serve you, although, you were not our most outstanding customer that day. Next time you’re in, I’ll show you some fire juggling and maybe you can show us a card trick or something. Until then, sweet dreams

Went in at lunchtime and ordered Sloppy Joe; was very disappointed to find out that it was in fact food. Still, it was very tasty indeed.

Worthy of the great reviews. I had probably the most delicious mushrooms on toast ever! And they followed the picky instructions of my other half (very crispy bacon, fried eggs flipped over) perfectly. Great cup of tea too 😀
