Light batter, perfect flakey fish. Great service too. It’s the best in our opinion and we have tried most of them! We went because James Martin recommended and he was so right!!

We have visited Whitby many times and tried the numerous takeaways on offer. Trenchers is delicious the fish was crispy on the outside and tasty in the middle the chips red hot. Would definitely visit again

Forget about fish and chips, fish pie is delicious!! It is very busy though so you may have to queue but it is worth it. No dogs allowed though which is one of the few places in Whitby. Well worth a visit

That's a good question but now needs no answer. We're coming home but sadly without the cup. Great effort from our team though.
