We stayed here and was perfect. Owners and staff were lovely and full of brilliant advice. Room was just what we needed and had a lovely view of the harbour. Was a great location and would definitely stay again. The pub was great too, a...lovely traditional place. Would highly recommend.More
I don't find a rope across the doorway to be welcoming at all. The whole idea of the rope is farcical. I understand how devastating the pandemic was to hospitality but come on let's get back to some sort of normality
I always visit this pub. Fabulous liquor coffees and selection of gins. Well presented and good table service. Dog friendly and very clean. Very friendly and we'll managed pub. Good beer too of course. I love the staff here too. Fantastic pub. I can't wait...to go again, in May this year. Love, love love Whitby!More
Upon arrival, we were asked to choose a table which suited our needs. Table service was excellent, staff friendly - great range of wines and beers.
During these uncertain times; The Endeavour felt like a safe haven.

Thank you for taking the time to make a review with Trip Advisor.
We are delighted you enjoyed visiting and table service although initially forced upon us has actually worked really well and improved our customer experience.

We have stayed in the rooms here in the past and enjoyed drinks on the bars a few times. However, when we last visited it was soulless and this is because they are still enforcing strong COVID controls that don’t need to be in place....There were only about 4 other people in the pub whilst other pubs were busy.
It was really expensive too. £11.20 for a pint on Timothy Taylor and a small bottles of Prosecco.
So if you want a relaxing night with a great atmosphere, avoid here and try The Ship or other popular pubs.More

Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review.
Table service we have found enhances our customer experience despite it being something no one was fond of in the beginning because of the circumstances.
Our staff have worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic...More
