No thrills basic menu, various pies mash peas and gravy. Nice array of hot and cold drinks. Reasonable prices for the seaside. When you need a change from sea food this is a good option for tasty well made traditional food. Both me and my...More

Had a couple of great, quick family meals here after our daughter decided she wanted to back again after the first time. Lovely pie, mash & peas, or bangers & mash, good portions and served by friendly staff in a 40’s style setting. They offer...More

Visited here as a group of 5 adults and child. We had to split the seating of the group due to the right spaces in the restaurant which was disappointing but made for a more comfortable dining experience. The pie meals were great value with...More

Very friendly waitress. Uncomfortable seating though where we were and situated right near the door so had a constant cold breeze while eating. The pastry in the pie was very thick and tough. The filling was alright but lacked seasoning.

Came here with friends on our weekend trip to Whitby, we all had pie, mash and peas, the pies were okay but the pastry was quite Lardy. It's okay just as a stop gap but nothing special.

My family and I always pay a visit to this wonderfully quaint restaurant, when holidaying in Whitby. Decked out in 1940s style memorabilia, with music from that era playing in the background, makes for an unique experience. There are several delicious fillings in the pies...More

Some friends told us about this little gem so we hunted it out. Ever so tiny but charming. It’s like stepping back in time to the 40s. Proper homemade pie and mash and mushy peas with 40s music, tin plates and bunting. If you want...More

Hello. At the time of our visit, I noticed no dogs. I don't know for certain, though I would guess not - as the interior was extremely small, and cramped. Scott Cooper.

Description
We are a small unlicensed eatery, serving just pie mash peas and gravy. We welcome dogs and their owners. We don't have any Alcohol, but you are more than welcome to bring your own or pop over the road to the Endeavour pub who will let you bring a nice cold pint back to your food.If we do something wrong or make a mistake, please let us know or contact me through the messaging service and i will put it right.I believe you should be able to have a filling quality meal for a decent price.
