I have been here several times over the years and absolutely love the place! The food is truly authentic and I recommend getting several dishes to share to try a bit of everything. The beef ho fun is excellent as a main and the dim sum especially are a personal favourite for a starter. You can tell that everything is... More

I went to this restaurant on the 18 February. I ordered a chinese tea and a rice dish. The tea tastes nothing because they just put a little tea leaf inside. The taste of the food was ordinary and it doesn't worth for £15. Really disappointed and I will not go to there anymore.

I went to the Baby Buddha for dinner on Saturday February 11th. My firings and I had a Dim Sum Platte rot start with which was rubbery and bland. Only small quantity so not worth £14. Main courses were bland and rice was look warm. My dessert of brownie was fine. But... my friend chose Chinese Coconut pudding. The waitress... More

Certainly the best in the City and I don't know of a better Chinese restaurant with the added benefit of Dim Sum. Gets very busy with nice atmosphere which is normally a sign of a good restaurant and this is no exception.

A visit to Norwich led to the discovery of this Teahouse. Being a regular visitor to London Chinatown we had reservations about what we would find here. Our reservations turned to delight with the quality of the food that was served. The Dim Sum menu is not huge however the dishes that we opted for were some of the best that... More

It has a certain air of richness in all its menu items. Well cooked and balanced to Eastern and Western taste buds. A little on the pricey side because the service is only an average "C". Maybe too compact to be called a teahouse. We Chinese like a crowded and noisy surrounding when we "yum char" don't we? Still a... More

We hadn't been to Baby Buddha for quite some time so we're really looking forward to our visit. We were shocked at the prices! They've really gone up! £9 for a plate of squid?? Wow! Food was Ok but didn't warrant the price tag!

On a busy shopping trip we called in for lunch and were happily surprised by fresh and tasty dim sum. The pork buns were perfect. Helpings of food were huge. The restaurant was very busy at 12.15 and they could have done with more staff. Having said that, the staff were working very hard and apologised that they weren't always... More

Staying overnight in Norwich, my husband had a yearning for a Chinese meal. He booked us into the Baby Buddha and I am glad he did. The food was lovely, full of flavour. The service was equally good and attentive and also very friendly. We thought it was a good sign as there were a lot of Chinese people having... More
