Cozy, great food, like eating at home with an Indian Family cooking for you. Small place but really nice people and excellent food. Do not expect fancy--but relaxed and homey.

Food was ok and service was pretty good. It is mainly south Indian cuisine made for the British not as spicy as I was expecting.

Simply Indian is truly excellent. I love Indian food, and my wife is from mixed Indian/Bangladeshi heritage, so we tend to eat restaurant and home-cooked South Asian food a lot, and Simply Indian is one of the very best places we have eaten in London...More

Great cosy, small Indian. Authentic, delicious food. Friendly, informative staff. Relaxed, homey feel. BYOB. Nearby pub can supply drinks if willing to cross the street to get them. Overall, wonderful family meal experience.

A rather hidden neighbourhood gem, Simply Indian offers truly good food. We enjoyed the fresh papadam and Sri Lanka Burji as starters. The samosa was average only. Mains were fab, especially the Curry Madras and the Lamb Biriani. Missing for 5* was the watery lassi...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

Can I see your main menu please. I am meeting some old friends from school and want to go somewhere with great food and relaxed atmosphere. There could be 8 to 10 of us for Friday 27th November around 8pm. Can you accommodate us.? I have heard your food is good. Regards Ken Maneh 07950 217841

An intimate South Indian restaurant very close to Borough market in #London, where you can BYO wine and beer and not pay any corkage fee. Freshly sourced produce delivered daily. A delivery service s also available.Recently rated as top 3 Indian Restaurant in Lambeth by ThreeBestRated UK. Very busy little retaurant so always advisable to book in advance. Party menu also available for celebration bookings.
