I used to eat regularly at The Brasserie and enjoyed the old world, French cafe feeling. It is tragic that a business that had been a great tenant and a very successful business for years was forced to close by a landlord pushing up rents...More

There is such an old world feel to this charming brasserie. The breakfast was different and not the usual generic stuff you get. Really enjoyed our breakfast.

Quite a large venue has comfortable seating and a pleasant atmosphere. Service was very good. The menu offers many choices in a french bistro style. All the dishes were quite good. Duck confit is very popular and was good although the skin was not crispy....More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Bringing timeless Parisian chic across the Channel, La Brasserie has stood as a landmark London eatery since 1972. A refreshingly simple menu showcases time-honoured European recipes, alongside a high-end selection of boutique wines, and cocktails served from the fabulous bar. Sumptuous chef's specialities include plat du jours and seasonal menus, or classic French onion soup and beef bourguignon.
