First visit to Amaya and glad we chose it. The flavours served up in every dish demonstrates why this restaurant has its Michelin star and constantly gets 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor. Get a number of 2 piece starter dishes with a shared curry...More

Firstly I love Karunesh Khanna and what he is doing for the Indian Cuisine in London the guy is pure talent! This place is unique in the UK, the typical canteen style restaurant with the amazing three course menus. The food is traditional Indian and...More

What a wonderful place. From a very warm welcome by the pleasant hostess, who promptly took our bulky coats on a snowy evening, to the excellent food and drink suggestions by the waiting staff. Fresh flavours, loads of unusual grazing dishes and atmosphere was buzzy...More

Another fabulous visit to Amaya, which continues to deliver dishes packed with amazing flavour (and it's not about spiciness) and texture. A well balanced cabbage noodle salad to start, delectable tandoori prawns, incredibly delicate seabass with a delightful marinade which was a great start. Lamb...More

We came in without a reservation and they were kind enough to make room for us. Loved the intense flavours of the food. The place is very well decorated and the ambience is very sophisticated. A very nice experience. Totally recommend.

Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic
residences in London, sophisticated and upscale
Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine
dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll
worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a
leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque
and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and
the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw

Amaya is the sister fine dining restaurant of Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy. It focuses uniquely on sophisticated Indian grills, seasoned with subtle complex marinades. These are cooked in full view in a theatrical restaurant show kitchen It is a casual and joyous restaurant where people can relax and eat with their fingers if they wish. The real Indian food is designed to be shared and is served as it is prepared. There are no conventional first courses or main courses.Amaya achieved the rare distinction of winning the two most prestigious restaurant awards in the UK in the same year - The Tio Pepe ITV Awards for Best Restaurant as well as the Best New Restaurant. This is the first time either award has been awarded to a restaurant serving non - European food, let alone an Indian restaurant. In 2006, it also became one the very few Indian restaurants to be awarded a Star in any Michelin Red Guide.
