Classic asian medium-low level that try to squeeze the most space possible putting tables very close and emplying less personnel than necessary. We were 5 and have been put nearby a wall that somewhere must had hidden the amplifiers of their music system. We have been literally molested by a unspecified strong vibration all the evening. I can't believe that... More

The worst prawn pad Thai I have ever had. I ordered a take away via UberEATS. Very disappointed indeed. As soon as I opened the box I knew it would be terrible. It was just one big lump of over cooked sticky mess . As i picked it up with the fork the whole thing just lifted off the plate.... More

Recently went for dinner on a Saturday night to Patara to celebrate a family birthday. The food was fab; for starters we had the vegetarian spring rolls, for mains a few dishes including the panang tofu - (highly recommend if you like red curry), vegetable kieaw wan curry and lemongrass tofu with jasmine and coconut rice. The only downfall was... More

We decided to go to Patara for lunch on the spur of the moment and we were very glad we finally tried it. The "Taste of Patara" offer was a really good choice. Great value, and I would imagine a great way to try quite a few things from the main menu. The service was also very good. We will... More

Visited Patara recently. Had few starters and seafood green curry. Loved all. Service was very professional and didnt interupt during the evening. things i would recomend for them to improve is wine by glass. My shiraz wasnt as fresh as i would expect from wine by glass.Bottle was open definately for few days. Except this great evening.

We love the food at Patara in both Soho and Maddox Street. However, we were very disappointed with this one. We ordered from the business menus.... which they do not openly display. My wifes salmon was dry and clearly over cooked. Both of our fish cakes were bland and had no chilli in them ... so much so that we... More

Went for the real Thai classics.. Were all perfect.. Shame food takes longer then normal even with just a few tables at an early dinner slot at 18:15.. Staff.. Well, they were not rude or unfriendly.. But did not seem too interested either.

Waiter did not understand when trying to order pineapple juice then made a face when he eventually knew what we were asking for (it is on the menu!) Ordered fish cakes which were tasteless and the only fitting description is rubber!! (these were refunded but doesn't take away from the disappointment) Order chicken curry... £16.80 and didn't come with rice!... More

This small restaurant surprised us with a delightful meal. All the food was great but the Grilled Salmon in Curry was absolutely wonderful. Service was extremely good a very friendly. All in all a nice experience at a fair price

Food was fine, but it was difficult reading the menu because there was not enought light. They have only English menu and it was not easy to understand each recipe dish if you were not familiar with thai cuisine. Service was fine.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
