We've been to this restaurant a number of times over the years. Never again, the young man masquerading as a waiter was one of the rudest and most disinterested I can remember. The limited menu pales into insignificance compared to this guy. Schoolboy errors all...More

Tried Annie's for dinner for the first time a few weeks ago after reading the great reviews. Although the restaurant was not full and we had called ahead to make a reservation we were placed next to a family with 2 young children... not great...More

Had dinner here with a large group of friends recently. It’s a really cozy & comfortable neighbourhood brasserie, with an exciting menu that tries to cater for everyone, plus they have daily specials. The portions are big – be warned. I had salt and pepper...More

We enjoyed a family birthday dinner with good service and pleasant ambience. There was a wide range of dishes on the menu including more than one vegetarian option. The children's food arrived without time for them to get bored and was enjoyed by them, especially...More

I've had better experiences at Annie's and have used several of their venues as well as Rock and Rose, so familiar with the standard which is normally nothing but excellent. Got to say that on this visit I felt a bit disappointed - dirty wine...More

We had a nice meal, friendly staff, food excellent apart from a risotto that was like bland semolina pudding but every drink came with a plastic straw. No-one asked for a straw, and once used for 20 minutes they last in the environment for hundreds...More

Loved the homely decor at this restaurant, and the staff were very friendly/chatty, it felt like dining at your aunt’s. The food was delicious, authentic and filling...I had to be rolled out. Good cocktails too.

Waitress was clearly in a very bad mood when my group of five arrived. Short and surly she accused me ordering duck rather than salmon, barking ‘you put your hand up with I asked who ordered duck’, and ‘why did you accept the spoon when...More

A cosy, homely decorated place for a great evening out. The drinks came quickly which got us into a happy mood. We ordered the salmon and it was really nicely done! Definitely recommend.

Annie’s restaurant in Chiswick is the kind of place every neighbourhood dreams of. This home-from-home restaurant has become a local institution, as spot-on for Sunday brunch as for romantic dinners. A stone’s throw from the Thames, its cosy rooms are an eclectic mix of exposed brick, richly-coloured cushions, rococo mirrors and chandeliers. And the menu is the kind that makes you sob with gratitude, filled with dishes that you’d cook for yourself at home if you could be bothered. Start with a salad of halloumi, roast squash, fig and caramelised shallot, then savour the slow roast pork belly with white bean and chorizo cassoulet. Warm, welcoming and satisfying, Annie’s will send you home smiling.
