terrific location, understated and cozy... but I would NEVER EVER GO BACK!!!, the sushi was extremely average for the inflated price that was charged. Service was cold and hurried. I would not recommend it !!

We came for a friend’s bday last night and loved it. It was my first visit although I had heard of the restaurant before. We opted for the £38 with a cocktail meal and we swapped the beef for chicken. Staff started off a bit...More

I sat at the bar and in addition to the wonderful meal had a lovely Conversation with the chefs. The soft shell crab tempura was also excellent.

There was nothing wrong with the food we were served but there are much better options in London, which are better value for money imho, so I'd pick one of those over Sake No Hana. Check out Roka or Kurobuta for examples. The bill came...More

The food was good no denying it but for the price it’s just not up to scratch. I love Yauatcha and Hakkasan but this place is missing something, it’s not on par with places like Roka or Zuma. We ate a lot but nothing really...More

I visited for a friend’s birthday where we ate in the private room. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone.

It's the service that compels me to write the review. All the staff were courteous and attentive but the waitress from Naples, the waiter from Guadeloupe and the sommelier from Thessanoliki(?) were particularly charming and efficient. And the food was quite excellent - until the...More

While the menu's a little intimidating to people who aren't overly familiar with Japanese food, the taster menu's offer a great range of choice and we opted for 5 courses with a beverage flight. It was a perfect taster menu that covered several kinds of...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the

a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s

Sake no Hana bar and restaurant is housed on the first floor of a modernist Grade II listed building in the heart of St James, offering modern Japanese dining. The a la carte menu provides a variety of hot and cold appetisers, charcoal grill, Toban and Kamameshi dishes, while sushi and sashimi are... prepared to order at the 13 seat sushi bar. A carefully selected list of sakes, Japanese whiskeys and other wines, spirits and liqueurs complement the dishes offered in the restaurant. Sake no Hana's interiors were designed my esteemed architect Kengo Kuma and the bar includes a beautiful futuristic chandelier, offering the perfect space for post work cocktails. The bar is also a beautiful space for private parties of up to 60 guests for a standing canape event, or can host up to 25 guests seated for an exclusive private dining experience. Monday to Thursday, 12pm - 2.45pm, 6pm - 11pm; Friday, 12pm - 2.45pm, 6pm - 11.30pm, Saturday 12pm - 4pm, 6pm - 11.30pm
