What a great experience we had in this restaurant. Went for dinner with the family before the theatre. The place was extremely busy but they managed to accommodate us in no time. The seating time was 2 hours, but we only had the table for 1,5 because we had to hurry to the theatre. Excellent service from Tibor. He advised... More

We entered, asked for a table for two. There were spaces upstairs but we were shown downstairs which was completely empty. We were given menus but no offer of a drink while we were waiting. After 10 minutes no staff came to take our order - we could see (in a mirror) that they were available. We walked out and... More

Really enjoyed my diner here with my fella last night. Great atmosphere however the service wasn't matched. The waiter didn't really interact, I said to him, you had a busy one and he started to tell me he's absolutely knackered. Give your staff a break! Apart from that. I'd come back for sure.

Tapas are very filling. The service was brilliant and Betty recommended her favourite cocktail with amaretto which went down a treat in happy hour! Have been many times and would always recommend. Very popular on Fridays clearly because I always have to make an early booking!

Conveniently placed near the National. Service crisp and efficient. Food, a bit of amalgam but tasty enough. Could have done with a bit more. Quite loud, in fact very loud but not overly unpleasant./ Reasonable value for money given its location

Description
At Las Iguanas, food is our passion. We rise at the crack of dawn to unload boxes of top-quality, fresh British produce. Then our chefs add carefully sourced ingredients from around the world, to conjure delicious, authentic South American food, made with passion, love and lots of Latin magic. We are the only restaurant to produce Cachaca from our own sugar cane plantation near Rio and we use it to make the best Caipirinhas this side of the Atlantic. Alongside our Caipirinhas we offer a full range of cocktails, non-alcoholic coolers, minerals & juices, beers, cider and wines. Join us for Happy Hour 12pm to 7pm and 10pm-late daily, and all day Sunday to Wednesday for a range of 2 for 1 offers on our signature cocktails and coolers. At Las Iguanas we hope you'll try new things, discover delights and favourites along the way, but mostly enjoy the unique taste of Latin American hospitality.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
