We went in a group to try Ethiopian food for the first time for most of the diners there. Some of my guests sadly did not enjoy the food. We enjoyed some of the dishes but the coffee we ordered took an hour to be served to us. We are in no hurry to return.

What a Pleasant surprise! As soon as you walk in, you know you are going to have a good Ethiopian experience. It smells amazing, cosy with the coffee and spices in the air. There are no cutlery, you need to use your hands to eat the delicious food, which is an interesting experience. Break a piece of Ethiopian crepe, use... More

Good selection of dishes, all well prepared, and great awaze (hot sauce). If you want Ethiopian coffee, be sure to tell them at the beginning of the dinner. It takes time to prepare.

I don't normally like to write a long, whiny review of a restaurant but I just feel I have a public duty to warn people about this place. The customer service is beyond belief, our starters were given to a different table and then, after that, took around half an hour to arrive. I mean, it was pitta and humus,... More

My first taste of Ethiopian food, and I hope it won't be my last. We had a range of veggie delights delivered on the large, slightly vinegary ethiopian flatbread. Everything had great flavour as did the ethiopian beer. I'd love to go back and try one of the many meat options.

Addis is a cute little place, atmospheric and very close to King's Cross station. Their enjera bread is really unusual and goes well with the various vegetables. Some of it tastes a bit like it has come from a freezer having been prepared in advcance. They serve ice cold Ethiopian beer, which is also lovely and well priced. The final... More

I love Ethiopian food, but this place just wasn't very good. They weren't terrible either. It's a good option with reasonable prices when you happen to be in the area, but I wouldn't travel far just to eat here. The server was somewhat disinterested and though we were a group of ten, we were periodically ignored and it took quite... More

This unusual restaurant was rather disappointing . Service was slow and disinterested . Which I gather is not the Ethiopian way Food well , I won't be rushing back , as the food was cold vegetables on a cold kind of pancake

Very very poor customer service and food quality is declining. When it comes to payment on several occasions they visibly discriminate customers and refusing to take card payments blaming poor network or machine break down while you can see them taking other payments. I was there with my friends yesterday only to ruin our get together on their bad customer... More

I would recommend an even training for all the stuff! Me and my boyfriend are frequent quest of this restaurant, our last visit was spot on regarding food and service (two lovely ladies served us). Unfortunately it has occurred a couple of times that service was extremely slow and we had a feeling of being ignored. From the other hand... More
