Went here as a special treat, and although the food was amazing, it is very expensive, and perhaps not worth those prices. It is definitely not an average, cheap sushi bar, but neither is it the best I've been to. It is expensive because of its location and reputation, but you need to book as it's not very big either!... Enjoyed the original menu. The venue is basic but the service and food are good, worth a visit. Pricey.

Japanese food by Japanese chef. The sashimi is fresh and all dishes are presented very nicely. Service is quite good too!

This supposed to be one of the best Japanese restaurants in London. When you walk in, it is definitely a cool place. You feel like you are going into a local home and it is very unexpected. Their menu is extremely limited and the food was just average at best. Their service was not very good at all. They were... More

We enjoyed Dinings a lot when it first opened - an innovative premier sushi restaurant and an alternative to Nobu! The last visit showed its clear weaknesses. It would be unreasonable to whine about the food - it's still good and above average. However, the menu has not been significantly updated; the fish is not super fresh (you see it... More

Booked for my husbands birthday last night, as suppose to be the best Japanese in London - well it's certainly the most expensive! We eat a lot of Japanese food and this was poor. The carpaccio of sea bass was very strong tasting of vinegar and very small - they claim their dishes are for 2 people sharing the same... More

I enjoyed the food, which was well executed and meant that this restaurant more or less delivered what it promised. However there are a few things that I'd have appreciated knowing in advance. The food is good, and it is on the expensive side. Costs rack up quickly, and I've been to restaurants that serve food of a similar standard... More

Small resturant that you could just walk pass and not know it even existed. Very plain and simple exterior. Summary: great incredients cooked/prepared very well. Food is pricey but, it's very good food, for two people full up without wine or dessert is about 60-70. It's the wine as always that takes you into 3 figures even if it just... More

A wonderful welcome when you enter the restaurant. Go downstairs to an small and cosy area. The staff are great and with good knowledge of the menus . The food is small and tasty and is a great experience . Shrimp tempura ,yamahai, garlic caviar sashimi and black cod. But you do need to order a lot . Every dish... More

We had a delicious meal. A bit pricey, but worth the trip. We sat at the sushi counter and did not go down to the main dinning area. The service was great.

Thank eesf

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
