When I mentioned I was going here to a few people everyone said that they had heard it was good. What a let down this place was. Food was average and overpriced. Not one of the tapas dishes had the wow factor. Had better tapas at other places. No-one in the group will be back here.

This is the second time I've been to Salt Yard. I still have strong memories from seven years ago of the Old Spot Park Belly which remains excellent if smaller than I recall. Staff are friendly and helpful and the section of Tapas varied but individually great. It is difficult to pick out stars among the lineup but the Mackerel... More

Staff great and very knowledgeable, bringing us various wines to try. My last visit was a few years ago and the quality of the food remains excellent. The only problem is it is ridiculously expensive. The other annoying thing is everything comes in 3 on a plate and there were 4 of us round the table. After 12 dishes we... More

I was running an errand and walked passed The Salt Yard and saw a leg of Iberican ham and wandered in for a charcuterie platter and a glass of wine. I was greeted and taken to a seat, served promptly and by a very knowledgable and helpful bartender who told me about a special. He successfully unsold me. I then... More

The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Perfect place to have good food and wine at a reasonable price.

Had dinner here on a very wet night in January. It is a bit dark but has a good buzz about it . We were downstairs close to the kitchen which was a bit worrying but did not detract from the meal, food was excellent with good recommendations from the waiter. The wine is expensive for what it is but... More

If you are looking for a relaxed tapas restaurant with amazing flavours look no further. Every dish we ordered was great, good and informed recommendation on wine and desert wine and espresso martini very well made. Polite and friendly staff, look forward to going back.

While staying in the Holiday in Regent's park hotel, we were looking for good restaurant nearby (using the Tripadvisor app). When we arrived to the restaurant (some five minutes of walking from the hotel) we got a very unique menu: part Italian and part Spanish food. Since the dishes size were small to medium, one was needed to order some... More

This is a cozy little tapas bar in the heart of London. Nice tapas but not extraordinary awesome food. The atmosphere makes it special.

Salt Yard is an award-winning bar and restaurant serving modern tapas inspired by the flavours & produce of Spain & Italy.

The tapas are complemented by charcuterie and cheese boards and we have a wide selection of excellent wines and sherries.

Flexibility is key to Salt Yard. Customers can enjoy a full spread of tapas: or come in simply for a glass of red wine and a plate of cheese, a coffee and a delicious pudding, or even just a perfect martini and a handful of Marcona almonds.

Located in central London- a two minute walk from Goodge St tube station- we are perfectly placed for a business lunch, a pre-theatre meal or a night out with friends. The restaurant is also available for private hire.
