We booked here for a pre-theatre meal, based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We chose the set menu, which had a good range of choices. The service was attentive and prompt. The food was very good with decent portion sizes and the overall value was good - we each had a Kir Royale, 3 courses and coffees and... More

Excellent venue for lunch or dinner. We went for pre Matinee lunch and were booked in - which I would recommend. The menu choice was great, as was the price: two courses for £10.50! (further option for three courses available) Service was spot on and the ambience of the restaurant is lovely. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will visit again... More

We had pre-booked and had a party of 8, the service was very good and the food was excellent. We chose from the pre theatre menu which was good value and we had a vegetarian in our group who really enjoyed the choices on offer. The Lamb Spring roll and Chicken and Chorizo starter which I had was very nice.... More

On the way to the theatre matinee, just around the corner from our hotel, we came across this great restaurant, so booked a table for the evening. How fortuitous, because when we arrived for the meal, it was buzzing! French inspired food and atmosphere, made this a superb choice. The menu was varied and interesting with a table d'hôte (£16.50)... More

A last-minute Friday-night booking for visiting family - I'd previously heard of PV but never eaten there, so I was pleased to find a table available. The restaurant was certainly busy when we arrived; always a good sign after booking somewhere at short notice. Initially led to the smaller downstairs section, between the kitchen and the loos, and shown to... More

We had walked past Pierre Victoria many times previously when visiting London but not taken much notice from the outside as it was adjacent to the local Tesco and in front of the façade for the new underground. However we decided to try it and the inside is much more appealing than the outside. Inside the décor reflects a certain... More

There's some building works just outside at the moment so not the best first impression, but once inside everything was lovely. The staff were french which added to the atmosphere. The close tables worked because they fitted the busy bistro style. Specials were written up on a mirror, and we were drawn to the cocktails. The Expresso Martini tasted wonderful,... More

Our first visit with friends for a reunion lunch. Lovely ambience as it is not a large restaurant. We all took advantage of the set menu which was 2 courses fit £10.90. Great value. I had the salmon starter and the duck confit. Excellent. We will return

First visit last night, pre-theatre. Charming place, just like Paris, wonderful atmosphere and a bloke playing the piano. Food was excellent and service incredibly friendly ad efficient especially as a party of about 40 had sat down just before we arrived.. Highly recommended

Description
Pierre Victoire Bistro has been established as one of Soho's most charming French restaurants since opening its doors to London in 1998. The classic French Bistro style décor complete with an eclectic collection of art pieces and chalkboards detailing the daily specials sets an inviting scene in which to enjoy a fabulous and very affordable French meal. Set menus are a prominent feature of this great little restaurant where a two course set lunch will set you back just £9.90 and the two course evening meal is a steal at just £12.90, both with plenty to choose from. Enjoy the restaurant's famous Steak & Frites as well as a wide range of fresh fish and seafood. The menus are changed regularly so there is always a delightful surprise waiting. Lunch times are ideal for an informal business lunch or just a long lazy afternoon with friends. In the evenings the restaurant is transformed into to a romantic restaurant where customers dine over candle light to music from one of the rather eccentric and charming pianists when it takes their fancy! The intimate basement lounge is available for exclusive hire at no further cost and can be styled to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 25.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
