We stayed in an airbnb right next to this restaurant so popped in on our first night - what a great "accident"! The food was great and the atmosphere also - we loved the quotes all over the ceiling :) We had the onion soup, the mushroom and goat cheese appetizer, the lamb and the chicken w/mushroom sauce - all... Very good food, and a super cute little place right in the middle of everything. The location is a bit like a little fish bowl right in the middle of street life. Proprietors are very nice.

We happened to walk past this restaurant, and as it looked nice from the outside we went in, and got a table without reservation. The restaurant is small but very comfortable and cosy. Yummy fresh bread was served with oil, then I had a very good salmon starter and a delicious duck main course. Service was friendly and attentive. Will... More

Tiny little Restaurant. Real good coking. We had no reservation got a fine table. If you are looking alfter moules you have to get there. The moules are made in oven. Really well done and such a simple idea. In the wine card you can find some good wines you will hardly find somewhere else. We will come back. Hope... More

Met up for a quick lunch with some visiting American friends - their choice. We were a little uncertain when we arrived as there was only one other couple in there and there was construction work going on around the building. However the staff were really friendly and welcoming and the décor was certainly interesting. The place soon filled up... More

Excellent! Really very good - an authentic bistro experience - simple, inexpensive and supremely tasty. The chocolate mousse was exceptional. Avoid the faux bistro chains and make your way here - but book ahead as it is small & intimate, which adds to its charm.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
